Im Jahr 1775…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

verlieh K\u00f6nig Louis XVI Carpeau und Stival das Recht, die erste franz\u00f6sische Gin-Destillerie in der alten Zitadelle von D\u00fcnkirchen zu er\u00f6ffnen. Alexandre Gabriel kreierte zwei Jahrhunderte sp\u00e4ter das heutige Rezept des Citadelle Gins. Weizen aus der Region Picardie, wilder Wacholder und weitere 18 handverlesene exotische Kr\u00e4uter bieten die Grundlage f\u00fcr diesen Dry Gin. Der Weizen wird mit reinem Quellwasser aus Angeac\/Cognac vermischt und mit spezieller Hefer vergoren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destilliert wird der Gin in der Dom\u00e4ne Logis D\u2019Angeac, hier werden Charentaiser Pot-Stills verwendet, welche von November bis Ende M\u00e4rz, f\u00fcr das Brennen von Cognac benutzt werden. Der Gin wird dreifach destilliert und mit dem feinem Mazerat aus den aromatischen Botanicals vermischt, um gemeinsam ein viertes Mal destilliert zu werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citadelle hat mehr als 60 Medaillen gewonnen, darunter \u201eSpirit of the Year\u201c bei den World Spirit Awards 2017 sowie \u201eWorld’s Best Gin\u201c und \u201eGin Grand Master\u201c in London.\u00a0Auch die Flasche ist der Aufmerksamkeit nicht entgangen.\u00a0Beim Spirits Design Master 2017 wurde es mit einer Goldmedaille ausgezeichnet.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
